Contact lenses are FDA-regulated medical devices. To ensure the health of your eyes and the best possible cosplay or Halloween experience, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:

• Maximum Wear Time: Because theatrical lenses contain more pigment than standard clear contacts, they allow slightly less oxygen to reach the eye. We recommend limiting wear to 6 to 8 hours maximum per day.

• Never Sleep in Your Lenses: Removing your lenses before sleeping or napping is strictly required. Sleeping in contact lenses deprives your corneas of oxygen and drastically increases the risk of severe eye infections.

• The “Golden Rule” of Comfort: If you experience any pain, burning, severe redness, or blurred vision, remove the lenses immediately. Never force yourself to wear a contact lens that feels uncomfortable.

• Proper Cleaning Only: Always wash your hands before handling. Clean and store your Gothika lenses only in fresh, sterile contact lens solution. Never expose your lenses to tap water, bottled water, or saliva.

• Do Not Share Lenses: Your lenses are custom-fitted for your eyes only. Sharing contact lenses with friends can transmit harmful bacteria and lead to permanent eye damage.
