Shipping Methods / Policy
Gothika uses a mix of shipping methods for you to choose from at checkout, depending on how quickly you would like your items to arrive.
Free Shipping – This economy shipping method typically gets anywhere in the USA in 10 business days. Transit times with free shipping are not guaranteed.
USPS First Class Mail – The US Postal Service typically gets this delivered in 7 business days anywhere in the US. Depending on where you are located. East coast deliveries tend to arrive in about 5 business days. Transit times are not guaranteed.
USPS Priority Mail – The US Postal Service priority is delivered within 2-3 business days. This is an excellent mix of speed and value. The USPS does not guarantee transit. times.
USPS Priority Express – This is typically overnight for most locations, although the USPS states 1-2 business days. The USPS guarantees transit for 1-2 business days.
FedEx Overnight Standard – Delivered the next business day, typically by 6 p.m., anywhere in the USA.
We only ship in the USA and for US customers. At this time, we do not ship internationally. Transit times are after prescription verification. Please adjust when we need to contact your eye care professional under federal law. We must give your eye doctor 8 business hours to respond under the law.
Locations
We have several different warehouses in the US. 90% of the time, we are shipping from our address in Marietta, Ga. This is our contact lens lab. For non-lens items, we use a 3PL warehouse in Beverly, MA. Shipping rates are pulled from the carrier in real time. The rates you are given on checkout automatically calculate from which warehouse the products are shipping.
International Shipping
We now also ship to Canada and Australia with the following methods.
USPS First Class International – This is the slowest method of international shipping we offer. It normally takes about 12+ days to arrive in Canada and 16+ days in Australia. We have no control over your country’s customs fees and release schedule. There is no door-to-door tracking. Normally, there is no issue. But you assume the risk of loss when choosing this method.
USPS Priority Mail International – This method is much faster and safer. To Canada, on average, packages will arrive in 4-6 days. For Australia, 6 to 10 days. Again, we cannot control any customs delays or fees your country may impose on your package. This method is trackable.
USPS Priority Mail International Express – This is the fastest method of international shipping. Often reaching Canada in 2-4 days and Australia in 3 to 5 days. This method is trackable.
Our standard insurance offered on checkout does NOT include international packages. Please do not choose shipping insurance if you are an international customer.
International Orders are not subject to prescription verification. But we HIGHLY advise you to talk with your eye doctor before wearing any contact lenses to ensure you are healthy enough to wear contact lenses and that they fit properly.
