The Ultimate Dark Fantasy Gaze
When designing a fantasy character, standard human eyes immediately break the illusion. For over 25 years, Gothika has been the trusted authority for professional cosplayers, haunt actors, and makeup artists who demand uncompromising realism. Our Dark Elf FX Contact Lenses are engineered to deliver a truly mesmerizing, mystical aesthetic. Unlike bright, cartoonish blue lenses, the Dark Elf design features a deeply saturated, moody aqua-blue that looks completely otherworldly in the sun, and intensely dramatic under studio ring lights.
Jagged Limbal Ring for Aggressive Detail
To elevate the illusion from simple color change to high-end special effects, the Dark Elf lenses utilize a thick, jagged black limbal ring around the outer edge. This aggressive design creates a sharp, piercing contrast against the deep blue center, completely masking your natural eye color and providing a larger, more menacing eye profile.
-

Contact lenses are FDA-regulated medical devices. To ensure the health of your eyes and the best possible cosplay or Halloween experience, please adhere to the following safety guidelines:
Maximum Wear Time: Because theatrical lenses contain more pigment than standard clear contacts, they allow slightly less oxygen to reach the eye. We recommend limiting wear to 6 to 8 hours maximum per day.
Never Sleep in Your Lenses: Removing your lenses before sleeping or napping is strictly required. Sleeping in contact lenses deprives your corneas of oxygen and drastically increases the risk of severe eye infections.
The “Golden Rule” of Comfort: If you experience any pain, burning, severe redness, or blurred vision, remove the lenses immediately. Never force yourself to wear a contact lens that feels uncomfortable.
Proper Cleaning Only: Always wash your hands before handling. Clean and store your Gothika lenses only in fresh, sterile contact lens solution. Never expose your lenses to tap water, bottled water, or saliva.
Do Not Share Lenses: Your lenses are custom-fitted for your eyes only. Sharing contact lenses with friends can transmit harmful bacteria and lead to permanent eye damage.
Disclaimer: These guidelines do not replace the advice of a medical professional. Always consult with your licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist for personalized eye care and fitting instructions.

Great lenses, they felt fine in my Eyes. They are pretty dark. You need to have some light hitting your Eyes to see the blue. They looked awesome in front of a ring light. In the bathroom light they look really dark with this deep blue. You should be able to see them really well in the sun. They really are a nice color.
Steve H –
The blue in this lens is kind of an deep aqua if that makes sense. it looks way better than this picture they use on the site. I bought Gothika because my eye doctor recommended them.
